In-Network Insurance
Emerald Fare Nutrition is an in-network provider with Aetna, Cigna, Highmark BCBS, Medicare, Tricare, and UMR (PEIA).
Each client must verify benefit coverage with your health insurance company before your appointment to ensure nutrition therapy is covered. Verification of nutrition therapy benefits can be reviewed by calling your insurance customer service number located on the back of your insurance ID card.
Out-of-Network Insurance
If your insurance is out-of-network with Emerald Fare Nutrition there are other options available to receive nutrition therapy.

Option 1:

Request information with your insurance company on out-of-network benefits, such as:

If provided SUPERBILL, confirmation of either reimbursement

OR,

If provided SUPERBILL payment applied toward deductible.

Then verify CPT codes that would qualify for:

Eligibility for reimbursement on telehealth or in-office visit

Eligibility for reimbursement for how many visits per calendar year

Private Pay or Insurance Claim Denial

Initial visit (1 hour) $180

Follow-up (30 mins) $80 and (45mins) $120

Telehealth and In-Office Appointments
Emerald Fare Nutrition is located in Charleston, West Virginia, but is able to service the entire state of West Virginia with telehealth through a HIPPA compliant platform. If you prefer an in-office appointment, please inform Christine, the dietitian, during your Meet & Greet call to best accommodate your preference.
